OUR CAUSE
According to SAMHSA, the COVID-19 pandemic has spotlighted racial and ethnic disparities in access to behavioral health care. While their rates of behavioral health disorders may not significantly differ from the general population, Blacks and Latinos have substantially lower access to mental health and substance use treatment services.
To fill this gap and to meet the needs of the community, Positive Images is expanding its current substance abuse, mental health services, and medical screening program by renovating its existing Client’s Center and Administrative Building. The Behavioral Health Clinic will be located at 13336-13340 E. Warren, Detroit, Michigan 48215.
Positive Images would not be able to serve the community without the kindness and generosity of people like you.
