Child Care Director/Lead Teacher

  1. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or Child Development
  2. Bachelor’s degree or higher in child related field with 18 semester hours in Early Childhood Education or Child Development and 480 hours of experience. (a child-related field is either Elementary Education, Child Guidance/Counseling, Child Psychology, Family Studies or Social Work)
  3. Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development with 18 semester hours in Early Childhood Education or Child Development and 480 hours of experience
  4. Montessori credential with 18 semester hours in Early Childhood Education or Child Development and 960 Hours of Experience. (A Montessori credential is a credential issued by the Association Montessori International (AMI), American Montessori Society (AMS), or any Montessori teaching training institution recognized by the Montessori Accreditation Council for Teacher Education (MACTE) that meets or exceeds 270 hours of academic training.)

Minimum Entrance Requirements
Bachelor or Master Degree in Human Services Field, Master Level preferred Completed or working towards obtaining MCBAP Certification as a Substance Abuse Counselor, CAADC, CADC-M, CADC or CCDP must be completed within 90 days after employment starts. Note CDP must complete one of the other certifications within two years after being employed. Ability to type reports – Development Plan for a Certified Professional credential Valid chauffeur’s license (optional) Minimal knowledge of the health and safety requirements Physical and mental health consistent with the demands of the position Ability and willingness to establish and maintain harmonious working relationships with clients, staff, community, and the general public.

Peer Support Specialist/Recovery Coach

Job Description:

The role of the Peer Recovery Coach is to provide non-clinical services intended to aid individuals in establishing and maintaining individual recovery from addiction and mental illness. The Recovery Coach will help clients in recovery to improve their quality of life through connecting them to social, spiritual, and peer supports.
